Prenatal & Postnatal Fitness

With clearance from your doctor or midwife, prenatal and postnatal exercise can help promote your well-being and your baby's well-being. Our prenatal classes are designed to help you connect with your baby and breath, strengthen muscle groups, improve flexibility, and maintain cardiovascular health. Meanwhile, our postnatal classes focus on restoration and rehabilitation without the pressure to "snap back" into shape. You can choose from virtual classes, small group settings, or private sessions to find the option that works best for you. Lactation Education and Support

 

Breastfeeding is a beautiful journey that birthing individuals deserve to experience with confidence and ease. Our vision is to provide education and support to all who want to breastfeed. As a dedicated lactation specialist, it brings me great joy to work with clients as they prepare for and embark on their breastfeeding journey. We offer resources, referrals, proven techniques, and up-to-date research to support each mother and baby duo on their unique path. You can choose from our small group lactation classes or schedule a private session in the comfort of your own home. Let us help you nourish your baby and cultivate a special bond that lasts a lifetime.

Community Fitness

 

Ayanna's group fitness and yoga classes are designed to promote mind-body connectivity while infusing joy and intentionality into every movement. These classes include:

  • Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga for improved flexibility and strength through flowing postures and conscious breathing techniques.

  • intenSati, a spiritual fitness program that combines elements of cardio, yoga, kickboxing, and dance with powerful mantras for a full-body, mind, and spirit workout.

  • HIIT and Tabata for a high-intensity interval training session that improves cardiovascular health, endurance, and strength.

  • Dance aerobics for a fun and energetic workout that incorporates dance moves and aerobics exercises to improve coordination and cardiovascular health.

  • Cardio kickboxing for a full-body workout that combines kickboxing techniques with cardiovascular exercise to improve strength, endurance, and coordination.

Reiki for Birthwork

 

Reiki is an ancient hands on practice of energy healing. As an energetic mover and being, Ayanna uses Reiki to support clients’ overall well being and health as well as specific issues that are commonly faced during the pregnancy and postpartum period. Ayanna is certified in Usui Reiki I and Reiki for Birth Work and is currently studying Kemetic Reiki.
